Star Wars New Cast- Unnamed Teen Girl

Hello again. As I am sure many of you have heard that a few of the roles being case for the upcoming continuation of the famous Star Wars franchise has been "leaked". With these good tidbits and hints for us impatient fans to chew on, many have already put in their requests to fill these rolls. Since it seems like filming should start before the end of the year, let me put in my two cents (even though I KNOW J.J. Abrams doesn't give a hoot) before it's "leaked" on who will be starring in this exciting yet- I'm sure for all involved- unnerving adventure.

First off, here are the notes we received of one of the female roles being cast:

- Late-teen
- female
- independent
- good sense of humor
- fit

Now there are several little actresses that can fit this role. Here are few for your consideration:

Tracy Spiridakos- Now this girl is almost all teeth, but she has the acting chops. Currently she is starring in the hit Revolution, so we know she can play an independent female who has to face grave danger, extraordinary circumstances and still be likable. Can she help to ensure Star Wars Episode VII will be a hit?

Seychelle Gabriel- This child star is now part of the ensemble of Falling Skies and has made sure she doesn't get swallowed by its phenomenal cast. She exudes a calm, undercurrent sense of control and can break into a smile quickly.

Kacey Rohl- This girl has been preparing herself with appearances on shows like Fringe and Supernatural, and currently on Hannibal. So she knows how to handle the beyond normal situation, possibly in a galaxy far far away. This could be a breakout moment for this young starlet.

Zoe Kravitz- the offspring of a rock star and sitcom actress, this darling has a bit of a pedigree and has been making her own way in The Brave One and X-Men: First Class. She's conquered being a mutant, how about a quick-wit jedi in training?

Willa Holland- She has the teen melodrama down with stints on the O.C., Gossip Girl and now Arrow. It's time this girl to bring some sass to space. Plus, if this character happens to turn out to be part Skywalker, she kind of looks like Princess Leia... just saying. Speaking of the princess, wouldn't it be awesome if just for a cameo sake, Debbie Reynolds showed up in the episode? Another.... just saying.

Sasha Pieterse- Some of you may recognize her as the not-so-"dead" bad girl of Pretty Little Liars. She has honed her skills as a quick-wit, sassy mean girl who is too good to look away from. It could be interesting to see her in a different light.

Aylson Stoner- this former Disney star, still works for the Mouse but now behind a cartoon character who will never age. However, this former tween has gown up and it might be time for the world to see. Hopefully she will not follow the path of other child stars from the Disney/Nickelodeon era.

Sofia Vassilieva- she made you laugh as the not-so-innocent, but well meaning Eloise as a child. She made you cry as the dying teenager in My Sister's Keeper. Let's see her kick butt in outer space.

Melissa Benoise- Glee fans might recognize her as Marley, but she has also been in critic-beloved Homeland, Blue Bloods and the Good Wife. Can you see her taking joy rides in the Millennium Falcon?
