SCARLET WITCHYes! It has been confirmed (for awhile now) that Scarlet Witch will be joining the super group in the next installment with her brother. As I mentioned before, The Avengers were definitely lacking in the female empowerment.
Currently, it appears the front runner in most people's mind is Saoirse Ronan
I will like to also give you a few other options to chew on though:
Deborah Ann Woll has been sinking her fangs on True Blood, so I believe she could handle this mutant.
Sexy, confident with an edge, I think Selma Blair can bring something to this role
Quirky Christina Ricci is an interesting prospect, but I think she can hold her own on the already stellar cast.
There is something very Wanda-esque about Danielle Harris
Now picture Jaime King with long dark hair and I think we can give her a shot of trying out
It is a possibility that Alexis Knapp's star is rising and just needs the right role in the right movie to really launch it.
Erin Cummings is another choice mainly because of her looks... wish I could say more right now.
UPDATE RUMOR COMMENT:
So it appears that Elizabeth Olsen- the younger sister of the more famous but arguably less talented twin Olsens- is in talks of slapping on the red latex (or is it pleather?)
