Wonder Woman the Movie

Comic movies are not leaving anytime soon. With the popularity of the latest Batman franchise, Ironman, the Avengers, Thor, and now Man of Steel, studios are all on board to bring our favorite crusaders to the big screen. It has not slipped many critic's and fan's attention, that though there is a eruption of superhero movies coming out, we are lacking in the female heroes. Where's our divas? Especially one of the most iconic ones: Wonder Woman?

Okay, so we saw how irrelevant Wonder Woman can turn into when they attempted a series back in 2011. Not even the buzz could save this much-whispered about series when it was no picked up after their pilot was shot.

However, that does not mean the idea should be completely scrapped. Perhaps it needs a revision . . . and a big screen. Who could fill the boots and whip the lasso around? Well, she has to a statuesque woman- after all she is an amazon-, physically fit, attractive and a bit wholesome.

Adrianne Palicki (Should we give her another chance... and another outfit?)

 Rachel Nichols

Monique Ganderton (she does stunts and acts so she can probably do some cool moves)

 Leelee Sobieski

 Odette Annable

 Taylor Cole

 Sarah Lancaster

So....? Who is your next Wonder Woman?

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.... The Sequel?

You would think that would be a time limit for when a sequel could take place.... evidently not.
Back in the 1960s, a jewel of a comedy was born. Several comedic geniuses came together in this madcap movie of a bunch of strangers spurred by a dying thief's last words that a stash of money is hidden in a location that they only know about. At first, none of them want to believe it but as the idea sinks into each skull, a race is born.

Fleshed out by such greats as Phil Silvers, Buddy Hackett, Milton Berle, Ethel Merman, Mickey Rooney, Jonathan Winters and Spencer Tracey- this is a classic. If you do not recognize any of these names- brush up on your class movies. You're missing out on some true gems.

This storyline has been redone before. In fact, some of you might be thinking of Rat Race where a bunch of strangers are encouraged to race to a disclosed location for a bag full of money. This movie starred the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, John Cleese, Seth Green and Cuba Gooding Jr.

In this sequel, supposedly it does follow after the 1960 movie where the original loot discovered was actually a red herring. Does this mean the real treasure is out there? If that's the case,
we'll need another group of screwballs to chase after it.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer... The Movie... ... Again?

For me, I have been hearing this rumor for years: Buffy will be reincarnated in movie version again. This icon- fantasy favorite female hero- has had loyal fans since the beginning. She was your atypical hero- young, female teen who would rather paint her nails and shop with her cheerleading squad is forced to battle the monsters and demons that go bump in the night.

First, Kristy Swanson introduced us to this stake wielding cheerleader

Yet, many more fans are familiar with Sarah Michelle Gellar's Buffy who played the role for 7 seasons

This character is so popular, that she cannot die. Instead, she was reincarnated in comic form

Is it time for a fresh face actress to take the mantel? Who knows. I present these young ones for your consideration (I looked for young faces because who knows when this movie would be taken into production- if ever):

Bailee Madison PictureBailee Madison is a fresh face young star who has already worked beside some big names and has done some complex roles. Currently, she still has this adorable baby face, but who knows how she will look in two years.

Madison Pettis Picture

Madison Pettis has been acting for almost forever and she is only around 15 years old. From television series to movies, she has acted alongside Dwayne Johnson and Will Smith.

Peyton List has been practicing the role of ditzy, materialistic teen girl who is more fascinated in the latest fashion than what's really going on in the world. Which basically describes Buffy before she basically becomes the master slayer.
Olivia Holt Picture
Olivia Holt is an actual cheerleader and she has that whole California, sun-streaked, beach look going for her.

Annie Thurman PictureAnnie Thurman has already been spotted in the wildly popular Hunger Games as a Tribute and will be in the upcoming Dark Skies. It sounds like action is already in her repertoire.

Bella Thorne is best known for Shake It Up, but she has been part of several diverse series including Big Love and Dirty Sexy Money. We know she can dance, so I'm sure she can tango with some vampires.
